Boycott of HTH Corporation goes global

To date, 2,562 emails supporting the Pacific Beach Hotel workers have been sent to HTH Corporation from around the world. Only 631 have come from the United States. Our friends at LabourStart are surprised there isn't more from Hawaii and the US mainland.

So click on the banner above to send your message to HTH Corporation in support of the workers' right to organize a union. You can also add your voice in support of workers struggles in other areas of the world.

The information is up in eight different languages--English, French, Spanish, Russian, Norweigan, German, Polish, and Italian. Following are the top five countries sending messages to HTH Corporation as of June 20, 2008.

  1. 631 from the US
  2. 477 from Canada
  3. 410 from Australia
  4. 332 from the United Kingdom
  5. 127 from Norway
  6. 585 from 54+ other countries -- from Algeria to Zambia.
What do hotel workers in Indonesia, public sector workers in the UK, and all workers in the United States have in common?  A lot, obviously.  And they're all the subjects of this week's LabourStart mailing.

Please take a moment to respond to these important appeals.   Please show your support by going here.
